Colored LED light specially designed for broilers and live chickens up to and including week 16.
JungLite Green™ is a specially developed and patented full-spectrum "light recipe" that recreates the chickens' natural habitat, which is in the Asian jungle. The green diodes recreate the safety that the jungle leaves provided for the chickens when they needed to seek shelter from predators in the jungle - hence the name Jungle Light. At the same time, JungLite Green™ eliminates the extreme change in light when it is turned on and off by simulating a natural sunrise and sunset. This results in the chickens being exposed to less stressful input, a lower mortality rate, and an improvement in the chickens' immune system. This also makes them easier to work with for the farmer.
JungLite Green™ has been tested at the internationally highly acclaimed Wageningen University in the Netherlands, as well as leading American universities, Texas A&M, and Stephen F. Austin. Through the trials, it has become clear that chickens have a color preference that varies depending on their age, and that chickens have changing behavior patterns related to light. Therefore, the green light from JungLite Green™ is recommended for broilers and live chickens up to and including week 16, while the red light from Dim-to-Red® is recommended for layers and breeding from week 17.

By exposing the chickens to the blue light found in JungLite Green™, the developmental needs of the chickens are met at each growth stage. The blue light has a clear effect on growth and sexual development by naturally elevating hormones in the body, which helps the chicken to form more muscle mass later in the growth phase. Studies show that broilers that have been illuminated with JungLite Green™ throughout their lives have an increase of 3-5% in slaughter weight. With JungLite Green™, the light intensity changes throughout the chickens' life cycle, yielding documented results
In recent years, JungLite Green™ has been tested with chicken producers in Europe and the USA, yielding visible results.
JungLite Green™ follows a specific lighting program that regulates the light color and intensity based on the age of the chickens.
In the first week, 100% intensity is used (50 lux and full spectrum). The white light with a deep red color and a 20-hour day length encourages the chickens to find food and water, enhancing early growth and reducing mortality.
Then, the light is dimmed to 40% or less to achieve 25 lux in weeks 2 and 3. The green/blue spectrum emerges, reducing movement and aggression among the chickens while promoting faster growth. In addition to dimming the light, the day length is reduced, simulating fall/winter, signaling to the chickens that they should focus on growth rather than egg laying.
From week 4, the light is dimmed to 15 lux, and from week 14 to week 16, it is further reduced to 10 lux, with a day length of only 8 hours.
In addition to the specified day lengths, it's recommended to use JungLite Green™'s 30-minute sunrise and sunset simulation.

Colored LED lighting specially designed for layers and rearing from week 17. Dim-to-Red® is a specially developed and patented "light recipe" for layers and rearing.
It is a combination light, consisting of white light diodes and diodes of other colors. When dimmed to below 40%, the light will be solely red.
Poultry have a very different vision from humans and perceive, among other things, red light more intensely. Research shows that red light contributes to increasing the production of melatonin in the poultry body. The natural hormone melatonin is produced in a part of the brain connected to the eyes. When white light does not enter the eye, more melatonin is produced. Melatonin helps regulate the circadian rhythm and hormones in the body, including growth hormone and sex hormones. Thus, the red light promotes the natural sexual maturity of the hen, making it ready for mating and egg-laying. This leads to higher productivity for laying hens.
Melatonin is also a strong antioxidant that helps strengthen the immune system. Therefore, the red light improves the hens' immune system. This makes the hens more robust and healthier.
ACHIEVE BETTER ANIMAL WELFARE
The hen's natural color preference in the sexually mature age is to seek red light. Dim-to-Red® thereby contributes to simulating the hens' natural environment outdoors.
The Dim-to-Red® recipe provides fully dynamic circadian rhythms by simulating a natural sunrise and sunset, thereby eliminating extreme changes in light, which are gradually and automatically phased in/out. This exposure to less stressful input results in lower mortality among hens, combined with a stronger immune system. Hens under Dim-to-Red® light are calmer, less prone to fly, and noticeably less aggressive.
Counteracts cannibalism and aggressive hens
The red light also has a clear effect in preventing cannibalism and hens pecking at each other. In addition to making hens less aggressive under red light, the red light also prevents hens from seeing wounds and/or blood on other hens, thus preventing them from pecking each other when the light is dimmed to red.

The lighting system is built for the future.
The control of the light is automated locally on your wireless network, where you manage everything via PC / mobile device. The vision is to harness artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud-based algorithms to work for you, enabling further optimization of all measurable conditions and processes around the chickens (*see the diagram below). Different new products are coming in 2023: temperature sensors, humidity sensors, scales, etc. All you need to do is connect to 230V and update the app. The solution will continuously be upgradeable and expandable.

The lamps can be wirelessly controlled through an app on your mobile device or farm computer (0-10V). The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play, and the initial setup is done in collaboration with the installer, who also configures any desired light groups - tailored precisely to your requirements. Afterward, you have complete freedom to manage the lighting system yourself and activate or adjust light recipes/light schedules as needed.

Each stage in the poultries development is optimized for day length, intensity, and light color (spectrum) through a light recipe that is downloaded. Avoid floor eggs and pecking by illuminating the multi-tier system with colored light. This way, the behavior and movement pattern of the hens can be regulated.
Avoid floor eggs
It is scientifically documented that hens prefer to be in red or warm yellow light when they want to lay eggs. By illuminating the tiers with warm yellow (Amber) or red light (Dim-to-Red®) and the floor with white or bluish light (Dim-to-Blue®), the hens will naturally seek the tiers to lay eggs.
Dim-to-Red® and Dim-to-Blue® are both combination lights consisting of white light diodes (3000K) and diodes of other colors. When dimmed to below 40%, the light will be solely red or blue.
Research has shown that the use of red light from Dim-to-Red®, in addition to reducing the number of floor eggs, also leads to a more consistent egg size and promotes daily laying.
Prevent cannibalism and aggressive hens
The red light has a calming effect on hens and also effectively prevents cannibalism, pecking at each other, and feather picking. Hens are less aggressive under red light, and it prevents them from seeing wounds or blood on other hens. This prevents them from pecking at each other when they are in red light, leading to healthier and less stressed hens.
